easyfinancial has launched in Quebec and we are looking for a bilingual recruiter to attract, evaluate, and hire the best caliber candidates to support easyfinancial’s ongoing success. As the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own all recruitment activities and initiatives within your client group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple hiring processes and ensure a best in class candidate experience.
  • Create and maintain job-specific profiles to attract high quality candidates that will build the organization’s talent pool
  • Deliver recruitment consultation and coaching to branch and store managers nationwide.
  • Review staffing requirements for assigned portfolios and recommend hiring strategies based on company targets and specific markets.
  • Actively build relationships with educational institutions, professional organizations, and community outreach platforms as a means of sourcing candidates
  • Identify conferences, tradeshows, job fairs, and other career and business events that offer recruiting opportunities
  • Partner with company leadership to develop support for regions that present recruitment challenges
  • Research and analyze current systems, and make recommendations to improve work flow and develop new staffing strategy including but not limited to new sourcing methods, evaluation tools, and advertising strategies
  • Monitor vacancy rates to stay ahead of business requirements and to fill positions in a timely manner
  • Evaluate market trends and contribute to pay scale dialogue to ensure a competitive edge

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal bilingual (English & French) communication skills is a must.
  • University degree in Human Resources strongly preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume recruitment role. Open to either corporate or agency experience.
  • Experience with developing strategies for new roles is strongly preferred – we are growing and new roles come up often!
  • Demonstrated ability to prescribe, create, and administer candidate evaluations (assessments, behavioural and competency-based interviews, technical testing etc.)
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws, employment standards, and Human Rights Legislation
  • Regular travel to retail and business centers (not to exceed 10%) so access to a vehicle is an asset
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative; our company grows careers and is ideally suited to someone who would like to take on more and be rewarded for it
