About the Opportunity`

Goeasy ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Merchandising Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Merchandising, your main responsibility will be merchandising and providing purchasing support to our internal and external clientele for our easyhome division. In this dynamic role, you will interact with all facets of our business from our retail support center to store level execution within our Merchandising Department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing an extensive set of reorder product listings
  • Create and maintain model file
  • Entering Purchase Orders
  • Processing of Web orders
  • Provide pricing and information for Employee Order requests
  • Provide general administrative support to the Purchasing team
  • Assist with various projects (i.e. vendor shows, conferences, etc.)
  • Participate in supporting the AfA (Anything from Anywhere) program
  • Provide superior store support through email and response to Hotline calls
  • Maintain current knowledge if relevant industries and product lines
  • Maintain and execute existing merchandising reporting
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for our retail network in a timely manner

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Office
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant role or retail inventory management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Self-directed with the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills  
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (French is an asset)
  • Post-secondary education
