As the Senior Manager, Application Management & Delivery you will be the technical leader for the core lending platform for goeasy. Overseeing a group of System Analysts, and third-party SI partners, you will ensure streamlined operations of the platform, as well as ongoing delivery of product enhancements, and project deliverables. Working in close partnership with the core lending platform product team, you will ensure complex IT problems have been addressed by conferring with your business and IT partners by working to negotiate problem resolution, timelines, and deliverable commitments.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager, Application Management & Delivery you will:

  • Lead technical execution and delivery on a highly custom core-lending and Salesforce platform
  • Manage a team of internal and external (third-party) onshore & offshore resources
  • Be accountable for planning and managing a group of related activities across multiple teams in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery
  • Partner with Product Manger and Architecture resources to define technically sound steps that progress toward destination technologies optimizing timely delivery
  • Manage work across multiple projects coming onto the Salesforce and core-lending platform. Work may be cross-cutting across products, agile teams, and/or technologies
  • Manage multiple custom-built and SaaS applications running on and on top of the Salesforce Platform (owned by goeasy)
  • Understand the needs of the engineers and technical operations teams who build, maintain, and operate the system for the life of the system
  • Focus on the customer experience, regulatory expectation and mandates, the build and delivery processes and the problems to be solved. Have a deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the solutions being built
  • Identify blocking issues and manage their resolution, anticipate bottlenecks, and adequately factor in contingency for unplanned delays. You identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.  Remove/mitigate all blocking issues, collaborating with Business Leads, Engineering teams, and Product Managers
  • Develop the team budget and be accountable for reporting on results achieved at regular intervals

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interact with senior leaders and adapt style as needed for technical or non-technical audiences
  • Experience delivering with an agile methodology, including through SAFe managed teams
  • Construct, interpret, and apply metrics to your work and decision making, able to use those metrics to identify correlation between drivers and results, and using that information to drive prioritization and action
  • Identify, coach, mentor and develop team members. This includes recruiting, overseeing new team members onboarding, and providing career development opportunities.
  • Influence those you motivate and coach to be receptive to feedback by cultivating a culture that acknowledges and expects individuals to grow and be accountable as a result of experience gained (growth mindset)

Experience:

  • 5 years of salesforce management experience and leading large software delivery
  • 2+ years' experience people managing teams
  • Experience with at least 2 different Salesforce Cloud platforms (for ex: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud Lending Solutions will be a nice to have
  • Exposure to Integration with MuleSoft
  • Experience managing tech projects by working with a cross functional team of salesforce developers, product managers, data engineers, information security experts, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience
