Lead Front End Web Developer

You also have experience architecting and building responsive websites.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Designing and building enterprise web applications using a front end framework like React or Angular.
  • Work with the Solution Architects to transform and develop requirements into system design and implementation.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal teams to achieve assigned tasks.
  • Ensure compliance to design and corporate development standards.
  • Mentor junior developers on technical issues and deliverables.
  • Review test APIs to support QA and UAT.
  • Participate and contribute to multiple cross functional meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Assist application roadmap development and help implement technology best practices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum 4 years of IT work experience as a developer on enterprise scale projects.
  • Expert knowledge of at least one front end framework like Angular, Backbone, React, or Vu
  • Very strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, and Ajax
  • Must have experience building out single-page applications
  • Experience with API integration using SOAP, RESTful, or JSON
  • Experience with Responsive adaptive web design
  • Ability to code within existing CMS/e-commerce frameworks
  • Practical hands on experience and solid understanding of web and enterprise technologies that include Java, J2EE (Servlets/JSP), MVC architecture, Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  • Experience with coding and debugging applications for cross browser support
  • Experience writing client/server applications over RESTful web services
  • Some experience with Python and proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Possess a solid understanding of how enterprise web based systems are constructed
  • Experience working on e-commerce or other transactional sites
  • Strong understanding of object oriented programming and software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience building hybrid and Native Mobile applications (iOS, Android, and PhoneGap) is an asset
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
