Email Marketing Specialist (Contract)

As an integral member of the newly created Digital Marketing team, the Email Marketing Specialist (12-month Contract) is responsible to help implement our email, and triggered-automation campaigns with a focus on content creation.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in implementation of email marketing campaigns, including automated lifecycle programs that drive incremental customer value and achieve key business goals
• Write email communication and work with internal graphic design teams to complete the creative process
• Continually A/B test communication at each stage of the customer journey to bring the right message to the right customer at the right time.
• Report on customer behavior and their key characteristics to improve email marketing.
• Create educational campaigns that serves our current customer base.
• Manage email calendar and coordinate with various internal groups to schedule emails and build necessary content
• Develop dashboards and reports that provide insight and visualization into performance relative to KPIs, projections, and comparative historical performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot delivery issues and drive rapid resolution with support of technical team and email platform service provider.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience (email marketing, marketing analytics or similar)
• Bachelor degree required
• Experience with Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio)
• Hands on experience with email marketing (especially lifecycle marketing) to a consumer base (at scale) with a measurable track-record of success, supported by ROI outcomes.
• Ability to deep dive into performance data daily, drawing conclusions and building campaign strategy based on data.
• Basic HTML and CSS
• Mobile app retention and mobile messaging marketing experience a plus.
• Experience with web analytics and analysis tools (ie Google Analytic, Excel, etc.).
• Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
• Involvement with email template creation, A/B and multivariate testing, data ingestion and extraction
