The NSSC Administrator will be responsible with overseeing numerous administrative tasks among various departments.  The Administrator will be an individual who is analytical and can operate in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review customer profiles and insurance claims to determine next steps
  • Data entry tasks
  • Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers
  • Review and evaluate online loan protection claim applications
  • Follow up on claim decisions and action appropriately
  • Review payments from customer for inaccuracies in processing (Payroc, Eft, Cheque)
  • Assist in the preparation of the daily and weekly schedules for various departments
  • Review various accounts & provide the right administrative solutions
  • Monitor and manage the Collections, E-sign and LPP inboxes (i.e. inbound/outbound calls, emails and texts from customers and branches)
  • Provide administrative support including generation of reports, presentations, policies, manuals and general correspondence documents
  • Coordinate meetings with various departments
  • Complete Refinances, E-ECTs, and other ticketing requests
  • Manage collections activities for all past due and potentially past due files
  • Perform financial analysis and other risk assessments to limit future delinquency
  • Offer Support for company events (Collections War Room, Open Houses, etc.)
  • Perform administrative duties associated with working in a call center environment as assigned management.
  • Work on special projects and assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Customer Service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and be able to work within deadlines with conflicting priorities
  • Adaptable to change in a dynamic work environment
  • Fast learner with a high degree of initiative
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as working within a team setting
  • Strong Computer Skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to navigate through and manage many different systems at once
  • Collections experience including a strong understanding of the various cure tools would be considered an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Assurant products and claim process, or other loan protection claim products and processes
  • Previous experience working in a call center environment or 1-2 years in a similar role considered an asset.
  • Post-Secondary education
