Senior Project Manager (6-8 month contract)

goeasy is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will have experience and expertise in IT Infrastructure projects & leading managed service modernization, with a focus on optimizing services for an organization and its various technology related partnerships. The work of the Senior Project Manager will be grounded in both change and project management, people enabled processes, facilitative and collaborative problem-solving, as well as data and information management solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Project Management Services and support to lead the multiple workstreams within the program
• In conjunction with the system vendor and internal parties, develop and deliver on detailed project plans, and other deliverables as assigned during the engagement
• Building and managing the detailed project implementation and roll-out
• Responsible for the project financials by accurate tracking and delivering on time the project expenses (validating project invoices), project accruals, and project forecasts (actuals vs. budget)
• Ensuring relevant project metric measurements are provided, including time tracking, capacity planning, project timelines, and related reports
• Proactively identify and raise risks/issues, remove roadblocks, facilitate key decision making and ultimately ensure successful delivery of program within specified scope, on time and on budget
• Success of the project will be measured by delivering on business objectives and adherence to guiding principles defined in project charter
• Work with an assigned Project Manager to divide and conquer the multiple management activities required for the size of the project

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of Project Management and/or Program Management in both business and technology projects/programs
• Certified PMP
• Capable to keep a technical conversation with technical leaders
• Experience managing > $10M projects
• Experience in migration projects, in particular core systems, such as ERP, Data Warehouse, Content Management, etc.
• Collaboration and communication skills at vendor and executive level.
• Experience working together with a hands-on program sponsor
• Experience “fixing” projects
• Change Management experience
• Great to have lending or financial services experience
• Negotiation skills
• Empathy and flexibility to work on constant changing environment.
• Can DO aptitude
