We have an opening for an Integration Specialist, who will be responsible for designing, implementing integration services to deliver the future Integration Services of goeasy.

goeasy is architecting and building a ground breaking platform as a service, to deliver a frictionless lending platform to cater for all types of loans, virtual and partners. 

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and evolves the best in class service platform and engages team to bring together components for a best-in-class Integration Service
  • Assess overall integrations and data layer to enable ongoing improvements to the various services
  • Lead the analyses of data entities, relationships, and attributes to determine efficient design to create appropriate integrations
  • Lead an efficient load process including logging and handling of exceptions, notification to support, and overall visibility on operations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to standards for code, design, documentation, testing and deployment
  • Provide technical integration support
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine the optimum solution
  • Manage deployment and repair loads for customers
  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for business applications including on-call responsibility after hours
  • Perform design/code review with programmers/developers
  • Review test protocols to support QA & User Acceptance Testing
  • Expert knowledge of Mulesoft, Kafka, API Connect or similar Enterprise Integration solution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in similar capacity
  • Hands-on experience in in Mulesoft.  Experience with  other integration platforms is an asset
  • Solid understanding of the API lifecycle, solution architecture, technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts
  • Good understanding of integration architecture concepts and patterns, including Microservices, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, RESTful JSON services, Pub / Sub etc. including Event Driven Architecture
  • Solid technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
  • Programming skills - JAVA, J2EE, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services, XML, JSON, SQL/NoSQL is preferred
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing and developing business presentations and power user training materials
  • Ability to solve problems spanning multiple environments in a business area
