Reporting to the Director of Real Estate and Construction, the Manager, National Facilities will be accountable for maintenance of all branch and store locations and offices.  As the Manager, National Facilities you will responsible for providing best-in-class customer service to our network of locations. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities maintenance tickets for 400+ locations with best-in-class customer service attitude and communication
  • Develop, oversee, and maintain current policies and processes for facilities management
  • Identify and Lead facility improvement initiatives, e.g. energy savings opportunities
  • Escalate facilities issues to Landlords where required and negotiate solutions
  • Decommission facilities that are no longer active
  • Manage national maintenance and service programs and contracts
  • Addition facility management, as needed

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities or property management, preferably with a national portfolio of locations
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Strong computer skills – experience with ticketing portals is considered an asset
  • French is considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written
  • Ability to work with others as a team
  • Ability to teach and communicate with non-technical stakeholders
  • Flexible work schedule when required to address emergencies
  • Strong negotiation skills with vendors and landlords
  • Valid Driver’s License
