Merchant financing represents one of the most significant opportunities and growth engines for the future of the organization. Developing, understanding and nurturing key partnerships is crucial to the growth and continued success of our business.

In this role, you would be reporting to the Director, Indirect Lending Operations and be responsible for 3 key mandates; operational business analysis, process improvement and project coordination.

 High-level job description:

• Use statistical methods to identify areas of operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes
• Generate easy-to-interpret business insights based on collected data
• Research and investigate workflows within Indirect Lending Operations, identify problems and improvement opportunities, and assist in finding and implementing solutions
• Conduct testing during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of Indirect Lending projects
• Act as a subject matter expert on all operational processes within the Indirect Lending business
• Develop written documentation, flowcharts and diagrams for operational change and process improvement initiatives
• Understand how each of the Indirect Lending partnerships is configured, onboarded and operationalized
• Ensure that ad hoc requests can be answered appropriately, in a timely manner, without affecting the daily, ongoing strategic initiatives of the team
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, collaborative spirit and a high level of integrity

Key overall qualifications:

Each position on our team is unique and therefore requires unique skillsets which we look for in unique individuals. However, the following overall qualifications apply generally:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical role, in a corporate environment
• Superior proficiency and expertise in PowerPoint, Excel and Word Creative thinker with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in an ambiguous, fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Highly developed analytical thinking abilities, with the ability to find problems and resolve them
• Advanced communication skills with ability to tailor communications to audience
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a cross-functional team
• Experience in indirect lending or general lending preferred
• French language skills an asset
