Senior Manager, Business Continuity Management

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), goeasy is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Continutiy Management. You will be a proven leader in the Business Continuity Management (BCM) space that will create, govern, strategize and execute the BCM path for goeasy and all its business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain excellent relationship with key stakeholders such as IT Infrastructure, Application Delivery and support teams, legal, HR, Audit and other corporate teams
• Coach and mentor, the different corporate and IT teams on the value and need for development, maintenance and recurrent testing of the Business Continuity Plans
• Track and report on progress of the plan development and maintenance to cross functional leadership
• Track and report progress on BCM test activity to cross functional leadership
• Conduct Proof of Value (POV) for different BCM technologies
• Maintain assigned Bill 198, SOC2 and PCI DSS Compliance and controls under purview
• Manage and enhance the BCM processes and technologies to identify, deter, investigate and remediate BCM events
• Manage relationships and negotiate with key BCM, IT DR and Crisis Management vendors
• Conduct quality assurance on the plans and test results and report back to the business units on areas of improvement
• Work closely with the IT Security and IT Risk teams
• Ensure Business Continuity is embedded in enterprise processes, M&A and in new vendor engagements by the enterprise
• Create and maintain the BCM framework, policies, plan and test results documents
• Experience coordinating, handling and managing a BCP event

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of work experience in BCM or IT Disaster Recovery
• Undergraduate degree with a focus in Information Technology or Cyber Security is preferred 
• Recognized business continuity or resilience designation such as ABCP, CBCP
• Knowledge of deploying ISO 22301:219 standards. Worked in an environment that was complaint with the standards is an asset
• Certified Risk Manager or Certified Protection Professional is an asset
• Experience with Alert Media, Service Now (Fairchild), Archer and Everbridge
• BCP incident response experience is an asset
• Experience with Application security is an asset
• Working in a Level 1 PCI DSS and SOC2 compliant environment is highly desired
• Experience managing activities in a SOX or Bill 198 compliant environment is preferred
• Experience working in financial services or retail sectors
• Knowledge of Canadian and US best practices and laws is an asset
• Ability to travel, as required
