goeasy is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our Channel Enablement team. Your responsibilities will be to engage Channels leadership in the development and implementation of net new initiatives, and to provide reporting, analytics, and insights on the performance of the various Channels. This role is vital in the efficient operation of our retail businesses. As a result, it carries exposure to many senior executives and would be a great launch pad to leadership opportunities within goeasy.
What will you be doing?
- Gather, maintain, and analyze a wide range of business data and reporting. This includes updating existing databases, supporting data integrity, and contributing to the development of efficient data collection and reporting processes.
- Review, validate, and reconcile performance measurement data in a timely manner to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Develop an understanding of channel operations to support reporting, forecasting, performance measurement, and P&L analysis activities.
- Support target setting, incentive planning, bonus calculations, and other variable compensation programs through data analysis, reporting, validation, and process administration.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting for business stakeholders by gathering, validating, and organizing data while identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automation.
- Ensure performance metrics (STIP, Balanced Scorecards, KPIs, and other measures) are calculated accurately by completing analytical reviews, reasonability checks, and data validation activities in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Analyze performance results, identify trends and anomalies, explain findings, and investigate discrepancies through to resolution.
- Respond to reporting, performance, and incentive-related inquiries from business stakeholders and frontline employees.
- Identify data inconsistencies, emerging trends, and opportunities for process improvements through ongoing analysis.
- Support special projects and other duties consistent with skills and experience, as assigned by the Manager, Channel Planning.
What experience do you have?
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Familiarity with SQL queries and BI tools would be considered an asset
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and react quickly
- Analytical skills, ability to identify problem areas and identify solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and ability to manage multiple applications
- 1-2 years in a similar role
- Post-secondary education (business/IT) or equivalent job experience

$60,500.00 - $71,500.00 CAD (includes base salary and bonus)
