We are seeking a Salesforce Developer, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Core Lending Platform. You will play a lead technical & systems analysis role as part of the larger IT Applications group and help design and implement scalable solutions that will elevate our business. You will ensure that all system changes meet business, quality, and architectural guidelines. The successful candidate demonstrates critical thinking and will have exceptional analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to determine application requirements
  • Design, develop, test and document high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform
  • Provide on-going technical support for existing custom code being used on the Force.com platform
  • Leverage (.Net/Java/SQL) to build or maintain existing non-Salesforce.com applications 
  • Develop and configure a multitenant, distributed application using Salesforce technology
  • Assisting users with questions, support, and adoption of the platform
  • Providing timely and effective solutions to technical complexities and challenges
  • Assist in understanding business requirements to create system requirement specifications and design artifacts.
  • Work with and delegate to onshore & offshore development teams for project implementations
  • Evaluating new CRM technologies and develop plans for their implementation into Salesforce.com orgs
  • Collaborate with business & technology teams on new projects & CRs
  • Identify issues and risks throughout the project life cycle and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Identify creative customer solutions for issues encountered by the development teams.
  • Participate & contribute to multiple cross functional meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Provide Salesforce Admin Level Support to the development team and the field
  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 business & system process support for business applications 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce IDE (Integrated Development Enviroment)
  • 3+ years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.
  • Proficiency in various database scripting languages like MYSQL, Apex, Native, VisualForce
  • Strong development skills using Configuration, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and Lightning Web Components
  • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript and C# language
  • 2+ years of Cloud computing
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes
  • Implementing advanced formulas and workflow rules to enforce business processes
  • Can effectively communicate technical issues in non-technical terms to stakeholders
  • Well versed in Salesforce products and industry best practices related to design, development, testing, business processes, workflow, reporting and sustainment
  • Experience working with relational databases and basic SQL commands (Postgres preferred)
  • Experience of working in onshore / offshore development environments is preferred
  • Experience in use case modelling is required
  • Knowledge and experience with agile methods
  • Implementation experience/functional working knowledge of Salesforce projects would be an asset

Nice to haves:

  • Background in Financial Services/Credit related projects would be an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce Digital Experience (Communities)
  • Web development experience using JQuery/Javascript, Angular JS, React or Vue.js
  • Strong integration experience: ETL tools, various integration endpoints (CRM, ERP, BI, Data warehouse)
  • Experience in using Salesforce development and deployment tools/techniques. Such as, Visual Source Studio Code, ANT, Change Sets, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitHub, BitBucket, Eclipse
  • Active certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
    • Any of the Salesforce Architect Certifications
