We're seeking a Marketing Specialist, Digital Lifecycle Marketing to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll spearhead multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications), collaborating closely with stakeholders and vendors to craft top-tier digital lifecycle and direct marketing initiatives. Your focus will be on driving customer engagement and its direct impact on shareholder value. Leading all facets of direct marketing – from planning and deployment to optimization and performance analysis – you'll ensure that goeasy brands are safeguarded and delivered through a world-class customer experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage and execute day-to-day email, SMS, and push notification marketing activities, including campaign setup, scheduling, testing, tagging, and deployment of various types of campaigns and journeys.
  • Create monthly and weekly campaign calendars, drive content optimizations, and deliver results to targets and forecasts.
  • Provide domain expertise and act as the point person for our marketing automation platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), ensuring adherence to email, SMS, and push notification marketing automation best practices.
  • Understand list segmentation and support the design and execution of segmentation and content personalization strategies.
  • Build, validate, and implement automated workflows and triggered journeys.
  • Optimize campaigns to improve engagement rates, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze results and provide insights to inform future campaigns.
  • Serve as an expert on compliance and best practices, including list clean-up, segmentation, and improving deliverability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Data, and IT to ensure alignment on business needs and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of campaign execution inside SFMC, as required.
  • Recommend best practices and manage process documentation to ensure a record of multichannel journeys.
  • Master new tools quickly, conduct research, and provide recommendations to the team on generating leads.

What experience do you have?

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience with a focus on email deployments.
  • Experience in day-to-day execution of multichannel journeys, including email, SMS, and Push notifications.
  • 3+ years of experience in roles involving analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to derive insights for testing various methods and tactics in collaboration with integrated marketing teams across diverse digital ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and Datorama.
  • Knowledge of data architecture and connected data strategy, particularly in databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, is a plus.
  • Understanding of SQL queries, databases, and CASL.
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, translating marketing and business KPIs into actionable plans and strategies that drive growth and ROI.
  • Experience working collaboratively across various departments, including IT, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Experience.

We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, between our Mississauga and downtown Toronto office.
