We are hiring for a Billing and Collections Administrator. In this department, you will work on various tasks throughout the day that include but are not limited to Customer Service and Adminsitrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via calls and emails to provide information and solutions regarding their accounts
  • Correspond with customers to provide balance letters, release letters, transaction history, payment schedules, contracts, and other billing-related documents
  • Organize customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency and procedures of the Collection Agents
  • Check files to ensure they are being worked correctly to follow company protocols and procedures
  • Reprocess payments and assess the information on the accounts to ensure the correct amounts/ PODS are set up
  • Restructure loans and input the information into Asset; create and send Addendums for the newly restructured accounts
  • Tag and add necessary information to accounts to assist in the debt sale
  • Call customers to confirm their new loan information; ask a list of required questions to proceed with the loan being booked
  • Look out for any fraudulent situations or issues with customers purchases
  • Learn and implement the insurance claim process for customers - tagging files, accordingly, following up, getting in contact with the insurance companies for updates and information regarding ongoing insurance claims
  • Assist customers with filing for Loss of Employment, Disability and Sickness and Injury Claims

Requirements:

  • At least a year experience with customer service, administrative, or support roles
  • Excellent understanding of Asset and Edge is a plus
  • Good proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Work well independently as well as in a team
  • Availability to work fulltime in our Pickering, ON office

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM with one 1:00 – 9:00 PM shift within the week; one Saturday a month from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
