We are in search of a  Billing and Collections Representative for our Lendcare subsidiary who will play a pivotal role in maintaining our company’s financial health. You will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to providing outstanding customer service and executing administrative functions with excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through phone and email to deliver exceptional service by addressing inquiries and offering solutions related to their accounts. 
  • Generate and distribute key billing documents such as balance and release letters, transaction histories, payment schedules, and contracts. 
  • Record and organize customer interactions, financial transactions, feedback, and complaints for systematic tracking and resolution. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Collection Agents and contribute to the improvement of collection strategies and customer service procedures. 
  • Ensure compliance with company protocols through meticulous file reviews and follow-ups. 
  • Accurately process payments and verify account details to confirm proper setup and documentation. 
  • Manage account restructures, including data entry in Asset system, preparation of addendums, and customer confirmation of revised loan terms. 
  • Identify and annotate accounts to facilitate the debt sale process and enhance debt recovery efforts. 
  • Proactively detect and address potential fraud or discrepancies in customer transactions. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in customer service, administrative, or support roles. 
  • Familiarity with Asset and Edge systems is highly desirable. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. 
  • Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Must be available to work full-time at our Pickering, ON office. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM  4:30 PM with one 1:00 – 9:00 PM shift within the week; one Saturday a month from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
