We are launching a pilot Secured Lending Team in Ontario and are seeking experienced Financial Service Representatives to join this specialized team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-visibility pilot program focused on growing our broker channel and evolving our secured lending strategy.
In this role, you will transition from a branch-based, direct-to-consumer model to a broker-focused environment, working with specialized secured leads and building external partnerships. This pilot will play a key role in shaping how we scale our SPL business moving forward.
A day in the life of a Secured Lending Specialist:
Build and manage relationships with broker partners to drive SPL growth
Work on specialized secured lending deals from application through to funding
Apply strong consultative sales skills to improve conversion rates
Conduct thorough reviews to identify and mitigate fraud risks in broker-submitted deals
Leverage your knowledge of lending policies to structure and close deals effectively
Close deals both in-person and over the phone
Partner with internal teams, including a dotted-line relationship with Collections, to support portfolio health
Maintain strong compliance and QA standards
Contribute feedback to help refine processes as part of this pilot program
What we are looking for:
Must have a valid SPL license in Ontario
1+ years of experience writing secured lending deals (or equivalent external experience)
Strong track record in consultative sales and closing
Deep knowledge of secured lending policies and risk assessment
Demonstrated strong compliance results
Ability to manage broker relationships or interest in moving into a B2B model
High attention to detail with a focus on fraud prevention and due diligence
Manager endorsement and support required
Must not be under active investigation/corrective action or within 6 months of a previous corrective action
Consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations in current role
Ability to commit to full-time, onsite work at the Mississauga Head Office
*This is a temporary secondment/interim opportunity for approximately 4 months to launch the pilot program, with the future scope and duration of the role to be assessed upon completion of the pilot based on business needs and outcomes.

Reporting to the senior technology leadership team, the Director, Software Engineering & Quality Assurance plays a key role in shaping how we build, deliver, and continuously improve our technology. What experience do you have?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
Financial services, lending, fintech, retail finance, or regulated industry experience is considered an asset.
Experience developing leaders, building high-performing teams, and creating a culture of accountability, quality, learning, and continuous improvement.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner across Product, Architecture, Security, Operations, and business teams.
Demonstrated ability to establish engineering standards, improve delivery maturity, reduce technical debt, and increase automation coverage.

8+ years of people leadership experience, including leading software engineering, QA automation, or multi-disciplinary technology teams.
10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, technology delivery, quality engineering, or platform leadership.

About the Role:

Your support will include labour planning, target setting, forecasting, and analysis.
You will continuously improve channel productivity through automation and process streamlining, leading initiatives to increase operational scale and reduce customer acquisition costs. You will develop performance scorecards to keep channel leaders focused on priorities and key metrics, and create sales programs to accelerate growth and remove barriers.
You will also develop weekly playbooks to impact last-mile sales execution, guided by performance trends, marketing activity, and new product introductions. Building strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (Marketing, BI, Finance, IT, HR, etc.) will be crucial to achieving our goal of becoming Canada’s Largest Non-Prime Lender!
What will you be doing?
Providing business insights that empower the sales organization with short-term decision-making and long-range strategic planning.
Supporting the Channel Vice Presidents with regular business reviews that highlight successes and opportunities for growth.
Providing day-to-day support for planning, forecasting, reporting, and labor management.
Partnering with departments such as HR, Marketing, IT, and BI to design and deliver performance programs and tools that drive a high-performance culture (e.g., incentives, contests, dashboards, ranking, etc.).
Working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver go-to-market strategy and sales enablement on new products and services.
Being the prime contact representing the channels for internal stakeholder initiatives and projects.
Identifying potential process improvement opportunities and spearheading solutions.
Developing channel requirements for IT and BI for KPI performance reporting, by channel, region, level, branch, and employee.
Standardizing and automating processes to provide channels with all required performance reports.
Tracking key metrics, exceptions, and outliers, and providing recommended action items for improvement.
Maintaining stakeholder commitments to SLAs, scorecards, and project plans.
What experience do you have?
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
5+ years of operations experience with large channel or frontline teams.
5+ years of program leadership or project management experience.
Ability to work independently and with internal and partner teams.
Strong experience in sales/channels operations, planning, and analysis.
Understanding of Distribution, Channels, Sales, and supporting business functions.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; experience with reporting and analytics applications preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally across the business.
Experience leading complex operational/strategic initiatives and change management.
Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Comfortable influencing decision-making at all levels and building relationships with partners and vendors.
