We are seeking a Technology Lead, CRM for our Salesforce application, reporting to the Manager, Applications Development. You will be play lead technical role in the development teams' efforts to determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by Salesforce. You will ensure that all system changes meet business, quality and architectural requirements. Successful candidate will have extensive hands on programming and database knowledge with exceptional communication and analytical skills.   

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide development team leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, and additions to existing applications.
  • Participate in project meetings with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts.
  • Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements.
  • Review application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards. Guide programmers/developers on technical issues.
  • Develop or review development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance.
  • May provide, or guide provision of technical support to applications currently in production.
  • Provide second level of support for Salesforce related Production Issues
  • Hands on and proven proficiency with technology, including programming languages and database systems
  • Work with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into system design and implementation artifacts
  • Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks
  • Responsible for identifying issues and risks throughout the project life cycle and planning risk mitigation strategies
  • Identify solutions to issues and challenges encountered by the team. Work with project leadership to implement and resolve.

CORE COMPETENCIES: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Hands on Salesforce.com experience is a definite plus
  • Experience in SaaS and offshore development environments is preferred
  • Experience in developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background.
  • Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM with end to end implementation experience.
  • Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the following areas:
    • Implementing advanced formulas and workflow rules to enforce business processes
    • Programming using APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, JavaScript, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions
    • Configuration & Customization including Workflow Alerts and Actions, Approval Workflow, Profiles & Roles, and Visualforce Page
  • Certified in Salesforce.com including Force.com highly desired
