As a Front-End Developer, you’ll be an integral part of our Digital Technology team, contributing to the development and enhancement of user-facing applications that support goeasy’s mission of financial empowerment. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and senior developers to build intuitive, responsive, and accessible web experiences using modern technologies.

This role is ideal for someone early in their development career who is passionate about creating seamless digital experiences. You’ll gain hands-on experience with frameworks like React, work within agile teams, and learn best practices in performance optimization, accessibility, and secure coding.

What will you be doing?

• Work on multiple products across goeasy’s portfolio of brands, including easyhome, easyfinancial, and goeasy.
• Translating UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code while ensuring visual consistency across platforms.
• Contribute to the development of new digital products and features aimed at launching into the market.
• Collaborate on mobile platform initiatives to deliver seamless experiences across devices.
• Support the refinement and evolution of our DevOps and CI/CD processes to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Explore and integrate AI technologies to enhance development workflows and deliver smarter, more personalized digital experiences.

What experience do you have?

• Hands on experience with React as well as working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, TypeScript and building responsive layouts.
• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. js or Vue).
• Experience using js or other server side technologies.
• Understanding of web performance, core web vitals and factors impacting user experience.
• Understanding of web accessibility and ability to implement UI compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA and AODA guidelines.

We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.
