Reporting into goeasy’s CMO, this is a truly unique opportunity for someone who is looking to gain exposure to all key areas of marketing while maintaining a direct relationship with a dynamic executive that is looking to mentor. The Marketing Coordinator will support the CMO as their right hand and will be given a broad set of responsibilities and access to all areas of the marketing function at goeasy including brand, media, communications, in store support, digital and social media as well as loyalty and retention and acquisition marketing.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Marketing team with the execution of all online and offline related marketing initiatives

Execute various components of in-store promotions including overseeing all marketing collateral creation, distribution and use

Participate in the development and coordination of the design, implementation and distribution of digital and print marketing material

Help manage and execute key loyalty and retention programs including all email communications, list management and A/B testing

Support the execution of various marketing related events that include both internal facing events and customer driven events

Manage social media related activities including posting and filtering of customer concerns and feedback through the appropriate channels

Actively identify and work with the Marketing team to develop new marketing strategies based on trends and insights

Compile and analysis weekly reports, including sales and promotional data, and evaluate overall performance and campaign ROI

Stay current and aware of trends, strategies and best practices for direct and digital marketing

Assist in analyzing the competitive landscape for insights and innovation

Direct administrative support to the CMO
Qualifications:
-
University degree in marketing, marketing communications or business administration
-
2-3 years of Marketing experience

High proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications

Demonstrates passion about customers and great consumer brands

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of data and analytics and using that data to drive meaningful insights

Entrepreneurial spirit and fearless in your ability to bring forward and execute new and innovative marketing tactics – willing to take risks!

Experience working with Exact Target or other email marketing solutions is desirable

Ability to work cross functionally to understand the needs of other areas of the business

Relentless in your ability to get the job done and make great decisions to drive the business forward

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize work accordingly to meet deadlines

High level of multi-tasking and organizational skills required
Special Conditions:
This is a full time one-year contract covering a maternity leave based at our head office in Mississauga, Ontario.
