goeasy’s HR team is excited to welcome a Manager, Total Rewards who’s eager to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you’ll be a key driver in shaping the future of goeasy’s total rewards strategy as we continue to grow rapidly and elevate our Employee Experience to attract and retain top talent. Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, you’ll step into a leadership opportunity that will evolve into full ownership of our compensation and rewards programs — from equity and executive compensation, to incentive plan design, annual salary planning, benefits, and the new ideas we haven’t even imagined yet. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about building thoughtful, high‑value programs and continuously maximizing the impact of our rewards investments.
What will you be doing?
- Collaborate with HR, Communications, Operations, and other functional groups to design, implement, evaluate, promote, and manage compensation and benefits programs and supporting “marketing” materials, ensuring optimal value, market competitiveness, and cost effectiveness.
- Develop the total rewards practice by establishing a centre of expertise and communicating updates, initiatives, and progress to executives and senior leadership.
- Manage executive compensation programs, including tracking and reporting on all Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) offerings to ensure proper governance and administration.
- Lead and enhance goeasy’s participation in market surveys by ensuring survey relevance, validating job matches, analyzing results, and providing recommendations supported by executive-ready presentation materials.
- Monitor and adjust compensation programs to maintain continuous alignment with company goals, compensation philosophy, and growth targets.
- Stay ahead of regulatory requirements by monitoring changes, performing detailed analyses, and ensuring all compensation programs remain compliant.
- Ensure that base pay and incentive (short and long‑term) programs are both internally equitable and externally competitive.
- Partner with senior leaders across the organization to provide analytical insights and administrative oversight for incentive compensation programs.
- Participate in senior management and HR business partner discussions related to organizational design changes and compensation program enhancements.
- Lead and project manage key initiatives that support the design and delivery of compensation programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with benefits and compensation vendors, consultants, third‑party administrators, brokers, and advisors to ensure goeasy continues to offer high‑quality, competitive programs.
- Ensure total rewards programs are effectively communicated to employees and positioned as a competitive advantage that supports talent acquisition, engagement, and retention.
What experience do you have?
- 5+ years of experience in compensation or total rewards.
- Hands‑on expertise in equity compensation, including administering plans and providing guidance to leaders to ensure programs are managed effectively.
- Experience working in a publicly traded, retail, and/or financial services organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with BI tools/analytics engines.
- Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on internal client support.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of total compensation practices, either as a specialist or through HR generalist exposure.
We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.

$115,000.00 – $138,000.00 CAD (includes base salary and bonus)
