We are seeking an ambitious Community Growth Specialist who is passionate about joining a winning team and growing their career. Social media is our direct line to engage prospects and customers. We’re looking for a creative and thoughtful individual to manage our organic social media efforts across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. You’re phenomenal at coming up with creative social media marketing campaigns, writing and building content, developing social media strategies and working cross-functionally across departments. You’ve mastered the art of captivating and engaging your audience to organically expand the reach of your (or a business’) social presence.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Increase goeasy’s reach and engagement across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Build and execute a comprehensive social media calendar
- Staying current with industry trends and weaving that into our social strategy
- Content creation: Innovate the process (visual assets, copywriting, etc.) to ensure a consistent brand presence and tone of voice
- Build relationships with key influencers and partners to increase our reach and the mileage of our content
- Measure and report on social (and campaign-related) performance in a manner that is clear and easy to understand, including recommendations to shift on strategy when required
- Maintain and improve a robust social listening program to engage prospects and customers
- Collaborate with the Manager of Digital to develop and implement goeasy’s social media strategy across our social media channels
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree - specialization in PR and/or marketing is a plus
- 2-3 years of experience in community or social media management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service-centric - you are passionate about problem solving and helping others
- Social media junkie of sorts - keeping ahead of trends and not afraid to try new approaches and channels
- Experience with Influencer marketing is a plus
- Experience in financial services marketing is a plus, but not required
- Experience developing and applying impactful social media strategies that are well integrated with a broader marketing plan
- Experience collaborating with a broader team to achieve team goals through social media
- Experience with data and analytics to measure results of social media efforts
- Trailblazer of sorts in social media and not scared to try different approaches - content can be delivered in so many ways (blogs, live video, stories, etc.)
- Fluency in French is considered a strong asset.
