As the Senior Manager, Channel Learning Experience (8-month contract), you’ll help us build a best-in-class pipeline to grow and develop our own field employees from entry into the business, into managers and beyond. You’ll help launch new programs to develop talent at all levels of our field team, helping them master their roles and preparing them to take on branch and store management roles successfully. Your story will include contributing to the overall knowledge management strategy, continuously looking for ways to improve field engagement and sales enablement, with a clear focus on developing bench strength and supporting manager effectiveness and success. A deep understanding of overall business objectives, product strategy, and our sales team structure is critical to success in this role, along with facilitation and multi-unit retail leadership experience.

What will you be doing?

  • You’ll maintain a keen focus on the team we support, building organizational buy-in and helping build the capability of common sales, leadership and professional skills
  • You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, teammates and Channel Enablement leadership to build best-in-class programs to develop the capabilities of future and current managers across our field teams.
  • You’ll use tools, technology and various user research methodologies to guide development of content that is engaging, challenging and meaningful for our field leaders, ultimately helping them learn what they need to be successful as managers at various levels in our field team.
  • As a facilitator, you’ll create an engaging and experiential learning environment in every workshop or classroom you lead.
  • You’ll incorporate culture, standards, optimization and productivity into everything you do to support the development of field leaders across our stores, branches and call centre.
  • You’ll oversee end-to-end learning program development and implementation for field employees at all levels in branch, store, and call centre.
  • You’ll establish a strategy for evaluating the effectiveness of all programs.
  • You’ll continuously look for ways to improve your programs, working with stakeholders to identify and address new opportunities as they arise.
  • You’ll collaborate with all Support Centre teams and other SMEs to ensure flawless execution of your projects & programs.
  • You’ll work with leaders across the organization to understand our business objectives and help identify any gaps in store, branch and call-centre management & operations competencies, eventually using our knowledge strategy to close those gaps through training, tools, resources, etc. 
  • You’ll help our field team understand our business, products, and customers so they can get the most from their careers at goeasy.

  • You’re a natural cross-functional collaborator, known for your ability to bring groups together, regardless of level.
  • You have an uncanny ability to command a room and have experience developing others’ leadership skills.
  • You’re a natural storyteller and can use your own experiences to bring principles and objectives to life.
  • Others admire your ability to work with colleagues who have little or no knowledge about how customer facing sales and service teams truly function.
  • You’ve got 5+ years' experience in sales leadership or sales enablement roles, bonus points if that experience includes retail or call centre, and even more bonus points for any facilitation or training experience.  

We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.
