Team Lead, Collections (Evening Shift)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader, Collections to oversee a dedicated team of approximately 10 Collections Specialists. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, foster team development, and maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Collectors, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. 
  • Manage and verify the accuracy of team members’ timekeeping on UKG. 
  • Facilitate ongoing training programs to ensure the professional growth and development of each team member. 
  • Effectively handle and de-escalate customer complaints, maintaining a positive company image. 
  • Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings to review individual performance and set objectives for team members. 
  • Generate and submit accurate daily productivity forecasts for the team. 
  • Compile and prepare comprehensive daily reports to track team progress and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Address minor policy infractions promptly and escalate significant issues according to company protocol. 
  • Achieve personal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while setting an example for the team. 
  • Conduct thorough reviews of accounts to identify and escalate suspected fraudulent activity to management. 
  • Complete special projects and assignments as directed by management. 

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to meet and exceed targets, with a focus on motivation, training, and development. 
  • A proven track record of strong performance in collections or a similar role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the collections industry, including processes, best practices, and technological tools. 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM - 11PM
