goeasy is seeking a bright, innovative, and strategic back-office VP of Operations responsible for managing a best in class centralized operations support department for our easyfinancial and easyhome brands.   This member of our leadership team will act as the senior business lead on behalf of operations for all major key projects and initiatives, while providing support to the front-line teams that serve our customers. The incumbent will contribute to goeasy’s overall business strategy by uncovering new product and revenue opportunities and driving operational enhancements that fulfill our pillars of providing “Access, Relief and Respect” to our customers.  This individual will be welcomed to our leadership team and will embrace and be an ambassador for goeasy’s work hard and play hard culture. 

Responsibilities:

• Effectively leads the talent in the Operations Support team through the hiring, coaching and development of team members and selling and reinforcing goeasy’s values and vision.
• Consistently lends oversight to functional planning, monitoring, and implementing change to evolve the group’s capabilities
• Establishes, owns and exceeds service level agreements to external and internal stakeholders
• Acts as the business lead on the organization’s key projects coordinating all internal departments to ensure successful execution of the operating plan
• Helps develop business strategies that drive the growth and expansion of each channel
• Oversight of implementation of new product development and general management of key systems and business processes
• Owns the scope and requirements for development of business systems and processes necessary to continue to scale the company
• Anticipates and identifies emerging issues, trends and problems within the overall consumer finance and consumer leasing industries
• Updates and involves the executive team on the performance of the business channels and key operational initiatives

Qualifications:

• University degree in Commerce; attainment of a MBA is ideal
• 7-10 of well-rounded Operations experience, with a focus in leading operations and/or back-office functions preferred
• Experience within consumer financing, financial services and/or retail industries is desirable
• Leadership experience is required with an emphasis on successfully leading multi-functional groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including public speaking and experience with executive level interactions
• Proven ability to establish and outperform budget expectations
• Skilled in Microsoft office applications include advanced excel and PowerPoint
• Solid analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
