We are looking for a tech savvy HRIS Analyst to join our team that will manage and support our suite of systems within HR. This role will be responsible for leveraging our systems to create opportunities for automation, process improvement and enhanced user experience. The HRIS Analyst will support building and managing HR analytics and participate in analysis to identify insights and trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems Management
    • Support setting up new modules and testing new releases for the core HRIS Platform (UKG Pro)
    • Act as a data steward managing data coming in and out of our systems
    • Working with HR teams and systems vendors to identify and implement upgrades
    • Troubleshooting issues with UKG Pro modules or workflows, management of business rules and new fields

  • Data Collection
    • Partnering with teams across the company to collect data points for analysis
    • Identifying new ways to collect and store useful data about the employee experience and implementing new data collection methods/exercises
    • Setting up processes for regular data collection and maintenance

  • Exploratory Analytics & Reporting
    • Partnering with HR Leaders to gather supporting insights and context to data trends
    • Generating reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
    • Build, maintain, and audit custom reporting as required

  • Pilot Program Support
    • Providing analytics expertise to HR teams as they develop pilot programs to evaluate program/process changes
    • Developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation and conducting user training
    • Participating in user group meetings and touchpoints with stakeholders
    • Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A background in HR analytics, business analytics, or data analytics (1-3 experience in the field an asset)
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems and writing reports utilizing reporting tools
  • Experience working with UltiPro/UKG Pro, Cognos Business Intelligence and power BI is nice to have
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure data governance in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion and curiosity for solving complex problems and providing high levels of service to client groups
