Here's how you'll stand out:

As part of the Channel Enablement team, the Content Developer will be an individual with a 'hands on' approach to multiple types of training content development.

Your story will include helping design and develop, launch, and grow a new digital learning experience for all of goeasy’s frontline roles. You will have used your writing, learning design, learning development and learner experience knowledge to create digital content that looks like a million dollars and helps people learn at the same time. You will be a key member of your team, collaborating with colleagues and continuously challenging your teammates to think freely and come up with creative ways to keep goeasy at the forefront of digital learning.

 

What you will do as a Content Developer:

  • Design & develop content that provides engaging, challenging, and meaningful learning experiences using tools, technology and learning methodologies
  • Research the newest, most innovative, and effective knowledge transfer methodologies – got an idea for a TikTok to support our objectives? Let’s hear it!
  • Demonstrate an insatiable need to understand our audience, conducting field visits where possible as part of thorough needs analysis for any initiative.
  • Collaborate with all head office support teams and other SMEs to ensure flawless execution of your projects & programs and often to help them determine the right strategy for their initiatives.
  • Strategize, build, and deliver content, and evaluate effectiveness and impact by working closely with the Senior Manager, Knowledge Management, and other stakeholders
  • Elevate processes and deliverables by collaborating with teammates to better the status quo
  • Provide relevant guidance and insight on content design and program selection through thorough understanding of the delivery platform
  • Develop fun and engaging training material using your graphics and animation experience
  • Establish and maintain content governance to protect the integrity of the learning experience we are creating
  • Lead each initiative assigned to you, whether a user experience research project or content development project, being sure to deliver as efficiently and effectively as possible

 

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • You can write… like, really write – breaking down complex ideas and unclear bodies of content into concise, easily absorbed pieces of learning content
  • We love that you have previous experience in the field of learning or communications.
  • You're familiar with microlearning and have created learning content as small as a single question & answer
  • The ability to bring training content to life by developing creative scenarios, videos, and writing scripts
  • Experience converting learning content from one delivery medium to another, without compromising any learning objectives (e.g., classroom to microlearning).
  • Strong experience using a variety of content development software (e.g., Articulate, Adobe, Evolve)
  • You have experience using various authoring tools for graphic design and animation.
  • You’ve designed and developed outstanding creative online work that addresses project objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • An uncanny ability to bring your work to life with simple language and visuals
  • You have measured the effectiveness of your own content at least once and have opinions on how this should be done. You can use those opinions to tell a story.
  • You recognize the big picture and demonstrate a passion for building training content and transferring knowledge and best practices.
  • An eye for simplification, you are somebody who looks to invent ways to make complex processes and project documents more efficient
