goeasy is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Office Coordinator (12-month contract) to manage the newly opened Toronto Office!  The Office Coordinator will be accountable for ensuring a high quality work environment for our employees and our guests. This will include leading all office related activities, such as reception, maintaining the office, support for on-site teams, and planning events. 

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure the facility is of high quality and standards
  • Maintain the facility including tidiness, weekly inventory of supplies, keep items fully stocked
  • Reception – Greet visitors, answer calls, accept deliveries, arrange courier pick up, etc
  • Manage healthy snack, coffee & other office programs, as needed
  • Arrange catering for Executive meetings, including set up and clean up
  • Get creative and plan events and special projects, as needed
  • Assist with meeting room bookings for special events
  • Coordinate setup & tear down for events
  • Manage all maintenance requests (office and retail) (furniture repairs, orders, light bulbs, ceiling tiles, painting etc.)
  • Manage employee desk booking software
  • Act as on-site first aid and Health and Safety representative
  • Key point of contact for facility security system
  • Collaborate with property management/ landlord for facility maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
  • Collaborate with easyfinancial flagship branch team for supply inventory, security needs, access plan, etc.
  • Budget and expense management
  • Additional administrative duties and projects as required 

What experience do you have?

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a related role
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in office administration (asset)
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Data management capability. Ability to create, manipulate and mantain spreadsheets
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines in fast paced work/office environment

Please note this is an on-site role (5 days per week Monday - Friday) located at: 221 Yonge St, Toronto (across from the Eaton's Centre)
