Do you have a proven track record as a Director, Technical Product Delivery driving software development projects from inception to completion? Are you skilled at leading cross-functional teams, managing complex dependencies, and ensuring timely execution of product roadmaps? If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect!
We’re seeking you to join our team and take charge of the planning, execution, and delivery of our software development initiatives.
What will you be doing?
Technical Product Management and Testing:
- Leading a team that authors epics, product, and software requirements documentation for technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Chairing the Product Council to manage the product backlog and prioritize items based on business needs and functional dependencies.
- Providing clear guidance to engineering teams with well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
- Supporting Business Relationship Management by maintaining Business Technology Roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborating with third-party stakeholders to ensure seamless integrations and strategic alignment.
- Working closely with engineering teams to support mid-project decision-making and refine product features through sprint planning, feature demos, and defect triage sessions.
- Fostering collaboration between the Product Council, Product Managers, and development teams to enhance product execution and delivery.
- Continuously assessing and refining product strategy based on data and market feedback.
- Driving consistency in QA approach by coaching, mentoring, and training teams on methodology and processes to ensure consistent software quality.
- Providing leadership to achieve consistent, monitored, and measurable software quality goals.
- Identifying areas for improvement in test methodologies and working with the team to address these, using metrics to measure progress.
- Identifying gaps in automation coverage and developing plans to increase and measure coverage.
- Collaborating with peers in Engineering and Product Management to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery.
- Ensuring QA validates requirements and acceptance criteria with Product Management to meet customer expectations.
- Working with Engineering and Operations teams on software deployment and feature enablement in Production to ensure quality is built into rollout plans.
People Management:
- Leading and developing employees in line with the organization’s core values, attracting and retaining necessary resources while fostering growth and advancement.
- Coaching and developing high-potential employees and building a culture of innovation and engagement.
Strategy Interlock:
- Ensuring a clear understanding of the business strategy within easyfinancial and easyhome, recommending solutions that align with it.
- Conducting technology portfolio review meetings with executive business partners and contributing to the development of 3-year technology roadmaps.
- Overseeing the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring all product launches are well-coordinated, technically ready, and aligned with business objectives.
- Working closely with stakeholders to translate high-level product roadmaps into detailed, actionable release and delivery plans.
What experience do you have?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in technical product management, software delivery, and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and business technology roadmaps.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, automation frameworks, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and mentor high-performing engineering teams.
- Experience chairing product councils or similar committees to manage product backlogs.
- Strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of innovation and engagement.
- Experience working with third-party stakeholders, vendors, and integration partners.
- Ability to oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Experience translating high-level product roadmaps into detailed, actionable release and delivery plans.
