We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Automated Tester to join our QA team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, QA and UAT, and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, implement scalable frameworks, and support testing across multiple platforms. You’ll also play a key role in defect reporting, regression testing, and providing timely progress updates throughout the testing lifecycle
What will you be doing?
- Review business requirements, user stories, and issue logs; clarify ambiguities to ensure testing conditions are well understood.
- Design, enhance, debug, and execute automation scripts.
- Develop, document, and maintain automation test plans, test suites, and traceability matrices.
- Implement and design scalable automated frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework) that support efficient test execution and maintenance.
- Track and report the progress of test case execution.
- Identify and document unexpected behaviors, issues, and bottlenecks.
- Track and report defect status and ensure timely resolution.
- Execute test plans and test cases within agreed timelines to ensure applications perform as expected.
- Document processes as part of testing outputs.
- Collaborate with partners and leadership to identify business test scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Recommend improvements to testing processes and practices; assist in implementing agreed changes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills; interact effectively with business representatives, developers, and testing team members to clarify specifications and resolve issues.
What experience do you have?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in developing automation scripts and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework) and scripting languages such as Java or Python.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications and technologies with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience writing SQL queries (an asset).
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum development environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables and outcomes.
We offer a Flexible Work Program that provides you the ability to work three days onsite per week, from our Mississauga office.

$56,336.50 – $71,500.00 CAD
