About the Opportunity

Goeasy is seeking a highly motivated and results driven Training Specialist to support our call center in Hamilton, Ontario. The Training Specialist primary role will be to facilitate all aspects of training for our call center agents.  The role will conduct in-person training sessions on key topics that are leverage by that specific department while driving results from a training perspective by ensuring that each trainee has the necessary skills required for success in their role.  Further, they will represent the voice of the trainee and ensure critical feedback on how programs could improve are filtered back to the Learning and Development team that is responsible for design of solutions. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for training on specialized training programs
  • Communication with all positions through group and one-on-one interaction
  • Liaise with and act as a subject matter expert to the Learning and Development Team
  • Follow-up to ensure on-time completion of all training initiatives
  • Co-ordinate logistics for all training sessions
  • Evaluate learning transfer
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive manner
  • Resilient, resourceful, and able to deal with dynamic business demands
  • Facilitate training in branches on various subject matters

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • 2-5 year experience working in a similar role 
  • A University degree; certification in Adult Education/training is desirable
  • High level of quality/accuracy in work and detail oriented
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks at once and prioritizing work
  • High level of computer literacy, intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
