goeasy is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our Operations team in the newly created role of Senior Manager of Process Engineering - a role responsible for establishing a deliberate focus on continuous improvement and process maturity. The incumbent will be lead a core team of project/ relationship managers dedicated to the different areas of the business.  In the role, you will be required to identify and lead multiple process improvement projects, use lean/six sigma tools and root cause analysis to identify key improvement opportunities.

The role will support the resolution of complex business, operational and sales related challenges. What you’ll need to succeed is strong interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and cross-functional synergies between the team and all levels of our organizations to meet project objectives for process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply structured problem solving, lean principals, and best practice process development to drive product, process and operational improvements while serving as the expert of these methodologies.
  • Work closely with SME's in the business to identify and execute on process improvements activities designed to enhance operational processes and technology within our company.
  • Ensure that Continuous Improvement projects are properly implemented, effectively managed, tracked and reported.
  • Help identify opportunities throughout various areas of the business in areas of growth, process maturity, labor savings, throughput improvement, and yield improvement.
  • Work closely with the Operational Leadership team and other key business stakeholders, to develop and deliver Operational Excellence/ Continuous Improvement projects, prioritizing work and resources appropriately, effectively communicating key benefits and implications upon completion, and maintain proactive communications and updates throughout.
  • Monitors and supports key metrics and KPIs for overall retail performance and process effectiveness within the field. Supports/coaches KPI owners in completion of gap analyses, identification and implementation of corrective actions, and assessment to ensure that gap is closed.
  • Acts as the primary owner for identifying the need for change/improvement and plays as a point person for managing business process change on an ongoing basis. Provide thought leadership, expert knowledge and strong analytical insights to address key business opportunities and challenges, as required on projects.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and defect reduction by building capabilities (e.g., lean trainings, CI events, coaching supervisors) and act as an agent of change.

Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge and practical experience in the coordination and implementation of continuous improvement projects, with a wide range of tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Thinking, standardized work, problem solving methodologies etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant business experience within a Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement role within the financial services industry.
  • Ability to manage significant ambiguity and constantly changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with large scale initiatives and analyzing and solving complex business problems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
