Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Engineering, goeasy is seeking a high performing Infrastructure Analyst at our Mississauga Head Office. This individual will help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure and network. You will be part of a talented team, who are mainly focused on Infrastructure. This job consists of Active Directory on-prem, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and Support Center infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply a broad range of computer technical knowledge and expertise of IT principles, practices and policies to complete user requests and assignments from IT Leadership in a timely manner
  • Support and implement integration between on-prem Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, OKTA, Office 365, and third-party cloud solutions
  • Provide Level III support for email and messaging systems
  • Perform system administration activities for Active Directory (e.g., manage Active Directory objects, OU creation, group policy set up, perform access control on in scope components, manage files and disk space access, manage service accounts)
  • Support and maintain Azure Active Directory Connect (AADConnect), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), DHCP, and internal DNS services
  • Work with internal architecture, infrastructure, governance, and security teams to ensure that all security, governance and business continuity requirements and best practices are integrated and implemented
  • Install and configure operating systems (Windows and Linux), software, and clearly document the design, maintenance, and support procedures for routine tasks to leverage IT support staff
  • Patch and maintain of Windows and Linux based systems
  • Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures
  • Other duties as required including housekeeping of our Support Center infrastructure
  • Manage and coordinate support incidents with external vendors
  • Assist in providing estimates of effort, material costs, etc.
  • On-call support on a rotating schedule as well as onsite and/or online support during non-standard business hours

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations in an enterprise environment
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in the IT field or a related area of study. Technical Certifications a plus (Microsoft / Cisco / CompTIA)
  • Experience in cloud technology such as Azure, AWS and O365
  • Strong Active Directory & Azure AD engineering & management background
  • Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux based systems
  • Strong knowledge of network connectivity including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Telcom, and data circuits
  • Comprehensive understanding of key technological concepts such as IT architecture, Cloud technologies, applications, network infrastructure, and security is strongly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills is required in this role
  • Due to the nature of the role; strong collaboration skills, communication, detail orientation are all critical for success in the role
  • Experience managing vendor-provided services including outsourcing arrangements
  • Experience working within a structured process methodology (i.e. ITIL)
  • Strong systems aptitude demonstrated project management and planning skills; balanced strategic skills with tactical execution skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who is eager to grow within our organization
