The goeasy Channel Enablement team is on a mission to make sure our field team has everything they need to be successful. We plan to create an effective knowledge management ecosystem that gives our employees access to exactly what they need, in the most flexible way, exactly when they need it. We’ll create standards for knowledge transfer and build the most unique connection we’ve ever had with. Our team is small, smart and feisty and we are looking for people who want to help us grow by enabling our employees to provide the best customer service possible.
As the Senior Manager, Knowledge Management, you’ll help us build and support our new strategy focused on knowledge transfer. Our story will include launching a new learning and communications platform, new content strategy and continuously looking for ways to improve engagement, content and overall effectiveness, while supporting the growth and development of our team at the same time.

- You’ll help our field team understand our business, products, and customers so they can get the most from their careers at goeasy
- You’ll work with leaders across the organization to understand our business objectives and help identify any gaps in organization/department competencies and performance, eventually using our knowledge strategy to close those gaps
- You’ll use tools, technology and various methodologies to guide development of content that is engaging, challenging and meaningful for our field team, ultimately helping them learn what they need to be successful
- You’ll work with your team and other partners to stay up-to-date on new and emerging research in communications, knowledge management and adult learning
- You’ll collaborate with all Support Centre teams and other SMEs to ensure flawless execution of your projects & programs
- You’ll work closely with the Director, Knowledge Management and the Channel Enablement leadership team to determine strategy, build and deliver content, and evaluate effectiveness and impact
- You’ll lead the coordination and delivery of new learning and knowledge management initiatives largely via a microlearning platform, incorporating ongoing feedback to ensure our programs are best-in-class
- You’ll lead the development of measurement strategies to demonstrate learner impact and effectiveness
- You’ll provide end-to-end project management of various learning initiatives
What you’ll bring to the team:
- You’ve got several years' experience in a similar or relevant role, defining, developing, and executing learning and enablement strategies, with a big focus on microlearning. Bonus points if you’ve got previous sales experience, especially retail or call centre
- You’ve built learning and education programs, especially blended programs that integrate a variety of knowledge transfer techniques and systems other than a traditional LMS
- You have delivered large-scale knowledge transfer initiatives in short time periods, designed and developed to build long term skills and capabilities and can demonstrate the success of these programs
- You have a strong willingness to learn and adjust to new people and environments with ease, actively working to understand strengths, identify opportunities to develop, embrace new ways of thinking and apply new information
- You’re passionate about audience analysis and user experience. You like gathering and digging into data to determine the best solution and then finding ways to bring that solution to life
- You are naturally inclined to stay abreast of the latest trends in learning and communication technology and methodologies to help inform and anticipate future strategies, changes, and trends
- Others describe you as both strategic and analytical – you can see the big picture, adapt quickly as new information becomes available, and analyze and summarize results for others
- You’re effective with limited information or direction; comfortable with risk and uncertainty; self-directed and proactive
- You’re able to engage, plan and work with multiple stakeholders, sometimes with conflicting priorities, to determine what their needs are, designing and thinking through the appropriate solution for them
- You’re a strong planner, breaking down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions, staging activities with milestones and schedules, anticipating obstacles and setting contingency plans
- Experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions, and measure results
- You have stellar writing skills, and know how to apply plain language principles to be as concise and clear as possible when providing information to field staff
