This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of all Accounts Payable outbound payments, while also supporting the processing of internal coworker credit card expenses. As our next Accounts Payable Associate (contract), you'll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, working closely with teams across the continent and collaborating with colleagues at our Corporate office.
What will you be doing?
Code and input high volume of vendor invoices and credits accurately and efficiently into Microsoft D365.
Review invoices for discrepancies and resolve payment issues internal and external customers.
Process cheque requisitions.
Prepare, reconcile and review of vendor statements monthly.
Prepare invoice journal entries.
Handle escalated vendor issues related to invoicing and payment disputes, ensuring positive resolutions.
Work with vendors and external auditors, as needed.
Manage and monitor AP inbox.
Assist in month end close duties.
Manage vendor-specific invoicing requirements and ensure compliance with company policies.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions as per Bill 198 requirements.
Maintain job aids and other user training material.
Match invoices with purchase orders.
Complete other ad-hoc accounting tasks or projects as assigned.
What experience do you have?
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and expense management experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with standard accounting concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Ability to reconcile system and vendor accounts.
Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with a large ERP, experience with Microsoft D365.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

A day in the life of a Skip Trace Agent :
Perform collection skip-tracing activities to locate customer contact information.
Utilize company provideded internal and external skip tools and the phone to locate customers and recover accounts.
Attempt verbal contact with our customer, references, landlords, workplace, and associates via phone.
Communicate with third parties for the purpose of obtaining customers’ location information.
Review and analyze credit applications and reports.
Proper handling of inbound/out bound skip calls.
Meet daily and monthly targets established by management.
Provide frequent updates back to management summarizing progress being made.
Maintain account history and update account records with newly located details from skip-tracing.
Regularly communicate and provide collections team with updates regarding account status and service levels; recommend changes if needed.
Comply with all federal and province regulations.
Comply with all office policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 1-year Skip Tracing experience or relative combination of education and industry experience
Subprime experience is preferred.
Skip tracing experience and ability to handle large inventories of accounts.
Previous experience working in a call center.
Strong negotiation and skip tracing skill.
Strong computer skills
The ability to multitask and handle working under a fast-paced environment.
Ability to type a minimum of 30-40 wpm.

A day in a life of a Customer Solutions Specialist:
Customer Engagement & Sales
Build strong customer relationships by welcoming and engaging customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
Interview customers to understand their financial and personal needs to match them with the appropriate financial, leasing, and/or service product solution.
Transparently communicate lease and credit terms and conditions and educate customers on credit-building opportunities.
Maximize sales of goeasy’s financial services and home goods through methods such as cross-selling.
Account Management & Collections
Manage customer accounts, including opening new accounts, updating records, processing payments, and monitoring overdue accounts.
Perform administrative duties and secure all required information to fulfill customer contracts for products and services, including evaluating applicant’s financial status and ability to repay.
Conduct collection activities on financial services and products while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
Build long term customer relationships to creates trust and increase customer retention.
Follow up with customers on missed payments and negotiate repayment terms where applicable.
Retail Operations
Uphold merchandising standards including assisting with show room set up, pricing and promotion changes, as well as manage and track inventory.

We are offering a starting rate of $18.10/hr CAD for this role, plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
