As the Senior IT Security Advisor (Application Security), you will lead efforts to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within goeasy’s application portfolio. This role requires your deep understanding of application security and risk management, along with your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture.
What will you be doing?
Integrating security pipelines into the development process, implementing the “Shift-left” and “Fail the Build” methodologies.
Implementing Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Penetration Testing (PT) activities.
Managing and prioritizing vulnerabilities, collaborating with IT departments to address them based on risk levels.
Protecting APIs by leveraging technology to understand and mitigate vulnerabilities, including scanning and alerting on API attacks.
Providing advisory services to new and existing projects and inculcating the Security by Design culture.
Identifying, assessing, and documenting security risks within projects, supporting the definition of strategies to mitigate them effectively to comply with goeasy’s security standards.
Identifying security weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and gaps in the existing technology stack and recommending remediation strategies.
Conducting comprehensive security assessments on large, medium, and small initiatives.
Advising the business on information security and privacy matters.
Evaluating existing security solutions and proposing enhancements to streamline our processes.
What experience do you have?
Solid understanding of web application development, OWASP Top 10, and web application exploitation techniques.
Experience with CICD pipelines, DevOps, DevSecOps, and secure code development.
Ability to perform security tests like vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
Reviewing architecture and solution design documentation to identify risks and complete Security Design documents.
Leading complex projects and providing security advice to mitigate IT security risks.
Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly to engineers and business teams.
Inculcating the Security by Design culture with all IT teams and developing necessary documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity, with a preference for a postgraduate degree.
Five or more years in any security domain (preferably Application Security/Risk Management).
Certifications: CISSP (required), CISLP, CSSLP, CISM, PMP, CRISC, CIPP, SABSA SCF, TOGAF, OCSP, GPEN (preferred).
Prior experience as an Information Security Architect is a significant asset.
Experience coding in Java, Python, JavaScript, R, Apex, or Go, and familiarity with UNIX, BSD, or Linux.

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and driven Senior Banking Treasury Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury you will play a crucial role within our Treasury department.
What will you be doing?
Leading and assisting in project and process implementation, requirements gathering, gap analysis, roll out process/procedures.
Awareness and consideration of Departmental controls and impacts.
Completing accurate and timely Banking reconciliations, ensuring balancing to ERP GL balances
Diagnosing reconciliation matching ineffectiveness and recalibrating accordingly.
Maintaining good relationships with banking partners, team members and cross-functional teams.
Managing Banking reconciliation outages and investigation.
Documenting transactions into the company ledger.
Experience developing reports for distribution.
Preparing quarterly variance narratives.

What experience do you have?

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Vice-President, Finance & Controllership is a key senior leadership role within the organization. This position requires a seasoned, hands-on executive capable of driving the company’s ambitious growth objectives while ensuring the integrity of its financial structures and controls. As goeasy continues to expand, managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across multiple verticals, this role will lead efforts to streamline and enhance financial consolidation, reporting, and performance tracking across diverse business units. Additionally, this executive role will play a critical role in driving the company’s diversification strategy and fostering the development of a high-performing finance team, empowering both collective and individual growth.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
Leadership of the Controllership Function: Provide visionary leadership to a high-performing team (VP & Director level) responsible for driving financial excellence across the organization. Oversee critical functions including Corporate Accounting, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, Taxation, Audit Coordination, Disbursements, Asset & Inventory Management, Vendor & Expense Management, and related financial analysis.
Financial Reporting & Regulatory Compliance: Full responsibility for producing accurate and timely financial reports and regulatory submissions for the organization’s legal entities and business units. This includes Financial Statements, Management Discussion & Analysis, Annual Report & Information Form, and the Management Information Circular.
Financial Integrity & Accuracy: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of corporate accounts, including maintaining financial systems of record, adhering to accounting policies, and ensuring proper valuations, provisions, and financial presentation under IFRS and applicable local GAAP.
Audit Management & External Relations: Lead and represent the organization on all financial audit matters, overseeing and coordinating external audits and reviews to ensure compliance and transparency. (Oversight of EY relationship)
Taxation Oversight & Compliance: Ensure optimization and full compliance with all tax obligations, including Income Tax, Indirect Tax, Transfer Pricing, Provisions, and audits by tax authorities.
Disbursement Controls: Oversee disbursement accounting, ensuring effective controls are in place for Vendor and Employee Payments & Distributions.
Audit Committee & Board Reporting: Prepare and present key financial materials and reports to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
Management Reporting Support: Provide ongoing preparation and support for the company’s Management Reporting processes.
Financial Stewardship: Directly impact the management and financial integrity of goeasy by ensuring effective stewardship of organizational resources, maintaining strong financial controls, and ensuring compliance with all legal, governmental, and regulatory requirements.
Providing Support to Other Functional Areas of Finance:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Budgets, Forecasts, Investment and Business Unit Analysis, Project Planning, Management Reporting, Strategic Analysis, KPIs, and departmental support.
Treasury: Capital & Debt Management, Funding Facilities, Securitization, Financial Instruments, and credit cost optimization.
Investor Relations: New Ventures & Deal Analysis, Research, Equity Research, Rating Agency Inquiries, and Strategic Planning.
Qualifications:
10-12 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with most recent scope at a senior leadership level (VP+).
Experience within a publicly-traded organization; relevant financial services experience is an asset.
Chartered Accountant (CPA/CA) with previous progressive experience in an accounting/audit firm.
Consolidation and reporting experience working in a parent company with multiple business units operating in multiple geographies.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in IFRS is required. Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset.
Previous experience managing external financial audits is required.
Knowledge of Canadian Income and Indirect Taxation is required. Experience in International Tax is an asset.

What experience do you have?
5+ years of experience in solution architecture within financial services, ideally with exposure to non-prime lending, banking, or insurance.
Proven leadership in major transformation initiatives, serving in a Lead Architect capacity.
Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions on Salesforce, with expertise in Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Lightning, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
Strong knowledge of API architecture, microservices, enterprise service buses (ESBs), and event-driven design.
Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, and DevOps integration.
Solid grasp of security principles and compliance standards (e.g., PCI, SOC 2), with best practices across hybrid environments.
Exceptional ability to balance tactical execution with strategic alignment and adherence to enterprise standards.
Demonstrated success collaborating across business and IT functions in both agile and hybrid delivery models.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior leadership.
A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Architect, or Salesforce are considered strong assets.

Manage your region’s revolving monthly PCO inventory to review and flag as “pre-lit”/” legal”
