A day in a life of a Customer Solutions Specialist:

Customer Engagement & Sales
Build strong customer relationships by welcoming and engaging customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
Interview customers to understand their financial and personal needs to match them with the appropriate financial, leasing, and/or service product solution.
Transparently communicate lease and credit terms and conditions and educate customers on credit-building opportunities.
Maximize sales of goeasy’s financial services and home goods through methods such as cross-selling.


Account Management & Collections
Manage customer accounts, including opening new accounts, updating records, processing payments, and monitoring overdue accounts.
Perform administrative duties and secure all required information to fulfill customer contracts for products and services, including evaluating applicant’s financial status and ability to repay.
Conduct collection activities on financial services and products while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
Build long term customer relationships to creates trust and increase customer retention.
Follow up with customers on missed payments and negotiate repayment terms where applicable.


Retail Operations
Uphold merchandising standards including assisting with show room set up, pricing and promotion changes, as well as manage and track inventory.
Keep your store looking its best by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and a customer-ready environment.
Bring products to life by assembling and disassembling electronics and home furnishings as needed.
Coordinate delivery paperwork and ensure accurate documentation for lease and finance applications.
Perform out-of-store duties such as assistance with delivering merchandise, collection activities, and administrative duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What we are looking for: 

Proven communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and drive results.
Experience in a customer-facing environment (retail, finance, or leasing preferred).
Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Availability to work a variety of shifts within store operating hours (10am-7pm Mondays to Saturdays)
Assist in physical tasks such as moving and arranging merchandise (ability to lift 50+ pounds is considered an asset).
Comfortable with sales calls, collections, and having difficult customer conversations
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit). Having a driver’s licence would be considered an asset.

Une journée dans la vie d'un Spécialiste des solutions clients :

Engagement des clients et ventes
Bâtir des relations clients de qualité supérieure en les accueillant et en dialoguant avec eux en personne, au téléphone et par courriel.
Interroger les clients afin de comprendre leurs besoins financiers et personnels et leur proposer la solution financière, de location et/ou de produit de service la plus appropriée.
Communiquer de manière transparente les modalités de location et de crédit et informer les clients sur les possibilités de développement du crédit.
Maximiser les ventes de services financiers et d'articles ménagers de goeasy grâce à des méthodes telles que la vente croisée.


Gestion des comptes et recouvrement
Gérer les comptes clients, y compris l'ouverture de nouveaux comptes, la mise à jour des dossiers, le traitement des versements et le suivi des comptes en souffrance.

A day in the life of a Insolvency Administrator:

Manage and process Debt Management Program accounts from the creditor's perspective, ensuring timely payment reconciliation and maintaining effective communication with credit counseling agencies.
Review and process Bankruptcy and Consumer proposal correspondence and documents for all secured and unsecured accounts, including file assessments for voting purposes, filing proof claim and complete the proxy information. 
Generate a daily detailed report for accounts that are scheduled to charge off due to Consumer Proposal and Bankruptcy.
Process customer payments/dividends from various remittance streams such as Credit Counselling and Trustees.
Liaise and coordinate with Finance department to reconcile the transactions that have been processed weekly and resolve discrepancies as occurs.
Process deferral payment batch file in support of collection efforts.
Provide timely and effective resolutions to escalated Insolvency and collection issues.
Process invoices, audit financial transactions, and provide financial statements and payout statements to collection agencies.
Maintain 3rd party files, process inquires and purchase requisitions and 3rd party vendor remittance requisitions.
Assist and fulfill 3rd party collection agencies’ requests such as providing copy of media files, legal proceeding status and address balance discrepancy.
Ensure a positive customer service experience, by supporting and handling Retail network queries efficiently and effectively. 
What we are looking for: 

1 - 3 years’ experience within the Financial Services Industry in a related role.
Intermediate experience working with Microsoft products, specifically: Word, Excel & Outlook, Basic Accounting knowledge
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to think outside the box
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to meet critical deadlines in a timely and effective manner

As Senior Manager, Knowledge Management, you’ll lead a team focused on creating clear, impactful learning and documentation for goeasy’s frontline. The role oversees LMS and content strategy, driving continuous improvements in engagement, effectiveness, and overall enablement. This includes building scalable programs that support employees from entry-level roles through to leadership, helping them develop the skills needed to succeed and grow into management positions.

What will you be doing?

What experience do you have?

Day in the life of a Legal Administrative Assistant: 

Efficiently manage a high volume of legal notices, correspondence, and mail, ensuring timely distribution and response. 
Open, organize, and maintain legal files with precision, ensuring confidentiality and ease of access. 
Coordinate email communications and handle incoming and outgoing calls, serving as a vital link for the legal department. 
Gain proficiency in legal file management and administrative tasks to support the legal process.

A day in the life of a Financial Service Representative: 

Build strong relationship by welcoming and engaging customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situation and needs and matching them to a suitable financial product.
Educate and empower customers to achieve their financial goals through building their credit.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of all Accounts Payable outbound payments, while also supporting the processing of internal coworker credit card expenses. As our next Accounts Payable Associate (contract), you'll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, working closely with teams across the continent and collaborating with colleagues at our Corporate office.
What will you be doing?

Code and input high volume of vendor invoices and credits accurately and efficiently into Microsoft D365.
Review invoices for discrepancies and resolve payment issues internal and external customers.
Process cheque requisitions.
Prepare, reconcile and review of vendor statements monthly.
Prepare invoice journal entries.
Handle escalated vendor issues related to invoicing and payment disputes, ensuring positive resolutions.
Work with vendors and external auditors, as needed.
Manage and monitor AP inbox.
Assist in month end close duties.
Manage vendor-specific invoicing requirements and ensure compliance with company policies.
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions as per Bill 198 requirements.
Maintain job aids and other user training material.
Match invoices with purchase orders.
Complete other ad-hoc accounting tasks or projects as assigned.
What experience do you have?

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable and expense management experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with standard accounting concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Ability to reconcile system and vendor accounts.
Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with a large ERP, experience with Microsoft D365.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Reporting to the Vice President, Leadership & Culture, the Senior Manager, External Communications will play a critical role in strengthening goeasy’s external voice and reputation during an important period of continued growth and visibility. This 18-month contract role will help lead the development and execution of a proactive external communications program, with a focus on media relations, corporate storytelling, issues management, executive visibility, and day-to-day reputation support.
The Senior Manager will help shape and amplify goeasy’s corporate narrative by identifying meaningful story opportunities, building strong media materials, monitoring emerging issues, coordinating timely responses, and ensuring external communications are clear, accurate, consistent, and aligned to the company’s brand, values, and business priorities.
What will you be doing?

Media Relations:
Draft and refine press releases, statements, key messages, briefing notes, Q&As, and media materials.
Triage and coordinate media inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-positioned responses.
Monitor media coverage, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to strengthen external visibility and reputation.
Manage day-to-day media relations activities and journalist engagement.

Proactive Storytelling:
Identify opportunities to communicate operational progress, strategic initiatives, business achievements, and the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives externally.
Develop and implement external communications plans that strengthen brand reputation and trust with key audiences.
Partner with internal stakeholders to gather proof points, business updates, and supporting data.
Coordinate messaging and elevate the corporate narrative in collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure consistency across stakeholder-facing communications.
Work closely with communications team colleagues to amplify external narratives across internal channels, and vice versa.
Partner with HR team members on employer brand-building programs, including supporting goeasy’s corporate LinkedIn channel.

Issues Management & Reputation Support:
Monitor emerging issues and reputational risks across traditional and social media.
Support the development of issues and crisis management plans and materials.
Help maintain issues trackers and risk monitoring processes.
Apply sound judgment in assessing reputational risk, message sensitivity, and escalation requirements.

Executive Support:
Prepare and advise executives and subject matter experts for media opportunities, including the development of briefing materials and speaking points as needed
Support executive visibility and thought leadership through speaking opportunities and strategic social media content that strengthens the company’s voice and credibility

Measurement & Reporting:
Support the development and project management of goeasy’s annual report, working cross-functionally with internal partners.
Track and report on media sentiment, coverage trends, key message pull-through, and reputational insights.
Support the development of regular reporting dashboards and external communications metrics.
Use insights from reporting and media monitoring to identify opportunities, risks, and recommendations for future external communications activity.

What experience do you have?

5+ years of corporate communications or public relations experience, with a specific focus on media relations and/or issues management.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate business updates into clear and compelling external narratives.
Understanding of the Canadian media landscape and a knack for breaking through with compelling pitches and story angles.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, respond effectively under pressure, and operate successfully in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
Experience partnering across teams and levels, with strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and drive execution.
Sound judgment, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Curiosity and openness to using AI and emerging tools to improve media monitoring, content development, measurement, and external communications planning.
Experience supporting communications in a regulated, publicly traded, financial services, consumer-facing, or similarly high-visibility environment is considered an asset.
Agency experience is considered an asset.
Bilingual French is considered an asset.
