We are seeking an energetic, hardworking, and motivated Employee Relations (HR) Specialist to join our growing team and company! Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Employee Relations Specialist plays a key role in fostering an equitable, transparent and respectful work environment for employees. This individual will ensure there is a consistent approach to interpretation and application of Company policies, practices and rules of engagement.
A wildly successful Employees Relations Specialist will be someone with strong problem solving, consulting and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide high quality consultation to management across the organization on strategies and approaches to manage complex employee issues.
Conduct employee investigations independently or in liaison with internal Branch Audit team in accordance with Company standards; professionally documenting findings and recommendations for appropriate resolution for review by Senior Leadership while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
Oversee and support management team with performance management activity including: performance issues, progressive discipline/corrective action up to and including termination. This includes creating and/or reviewing documentation to support performance discussions (Written Warnings, Performance Improvements Plans, etc.).
Partner with other teams within human resources to leverage employee relations insights to enhance training programs, onboarding, talent acquisition, rewards, culture.
Manage communication with employees on leave of absence and facilitate return to work plans.
Coordinate with management team on Health & Safety matters including workplace injury situations.
Assist employees and management with the interpretation of Company policies and respond to inquiries and concerns.
Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to management to enhance their people management capability.
Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with provincial employment laws.

Qualifications:
University/college degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
Minimum of 5 years’ Employee Relations or HR Business Partner/Generalist experience
Strong Knowledge of provincial Employment Standards legislation, Human Rights, Health and Safety legislation and other applicable employment law
Broad experience in policy and legislation interpretation, customer service, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, sound judgment and sensitivity in dealing with employee situations

Reporting to the Vice President of Treasury, the Financial Analyst (Treasury) will be responsible for operating goeasy’s new Securitization Warehouse facility, owning the company’s cash flow forecasting, along with evolving the suite of Treasury Management reporting that includes detailed Debt, Equity, and Leverage statistics among other financial metrics. The Financial Analyst (Treasury) will also work alongside the Vice President to assess Treasury-related implications as it relates to new investments and evaluate the relative benefits of new Debt facilities required in order to support the growth of its current portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Operates the company’s existing Securitization Warehouse program that includes the daily calculation and transfer of the Trust’s cash flows, required monthly disbursements and month-end accounting entries, and all monthly reporting requirements.
Assists in the development of new securitization programs, mapping out cash flow movements, accounting entries, and reporting requirements.
Responsible for the updating and enhancing the company’s cash flow forecasting as the business grows and its cash requirements change.
Responsible for the monthly suite of Treasury reports to the executive committee, quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors, and all financial covenant reporting as it relates to the company’s debt facilities.
Independently build new financial analysis and reporting models to assess new funding and/or growth opportunities.
Ensures accuracy across all ad-hoc and routine reporting by creating control checks to proactively flag any data points that are incorrect or not reconciling.
Experience & Skills:
Very strong Excel skills required, including experience with creating and evolving complex financial models
Exhibits high attention to detail and discipline to check work in order to produce error free reporting even with a large volume of reports
Solid foundation and experience in both management and financial accounting
Ability to quickly learn new software systems and business processes

Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrate leadership, knowledge and application of industry call center support processes, workforce planning, standards of practice, policies and procedures, quality improvement processes, and the goals of the organization.

Day to day management of the respective teams to develop and maintain operational programs to meet business objectives

Own and implement our business enablement support services program, create a culture of performance excellence through business intelligence initiative implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement
Establishes, monitors, and maintains current and future operational policies and procedures (SOPs), performance measures, metrics and production control processes.
Conducts process mapping, analysis, and redesign to drive operational improvements
Identify and develop processes to optimize efficiency, productivity, and work flow while ensuring compliance to internal and external controls
Successfully lead large projects and help the operations grow and scale over time
Participate in business reviews and help drive discussions to identify and improve outcomes
Work with key stakeholders to determine service needs and the 3-5 year roadmap to meet the current and future requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:
University and/or College degree with a Business focus; a post graduate degree/designation such as an MBA is desirable
5-8 years of leadership experience in a contact centre environment and in a business enablement support role (Workforce planning, Business Analytics, Quality and Training)
Minimum 5 years in a senior role managing a large team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Certification and or work experience, in process engineering and/or quality management methodology (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is a great asset.

So, what will you do as a Financial Service Representative?
You will build superior customer sales experiences by engaging, listening and understanding the financial needs of potential customers and matching their needs to our lending solutions in a pleasurable sales environment
You will demonstrate compassion and empathy toward customers to be able to hear their story and help with the most appropriate sale of our financial services based on individual needs
You will welcome and engage customers visiting your branch location or by actively prospecting new clients through a combination marketing and outbound sales call activity with a view to achieving and exceeding branch sales targets
You will capitalize on financial cross-sales and add-on products by paying attention to customer needs to specifically pinpoint sales opportunities while clearly and openly communicating the terms and conditions of our financial products
Review and evaluate online financial loan applications, assess the applicants’ credit worthiness, perform financial analysis, and other risk assessments to improve quality of the sale and limit future collection items
Manage collections activities for all past due financial accounts, maintaining an impeccable level of service
Accurately secure all required information to fulfill customer applications for products and maintain information and records to limit errors
What we are looking for:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing targeted sales environment; experience in either consumer finance or pay day loan industries is strongly preferred
Secondary school diploma is required; post-secondary education with a background in Business or a Finance is preferred
People Oriented, Enterprising and an excellent communicator with the ability to build memorable customer experiences for every financial sale
Proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), strong keyboarding skills and an ability to learn and master new software programs
Ability to multi-task, adapt to change in a dynamic sales environment
