The Director, Real Estate & Facilities is responsible for leading goeasy’s real estate, construction, and facilities strategy across our retail networks. This role provides strategic oversight of site selection, lease management, store development, facilities operations, and portfolio optimization initiatives while leading a team responsible for the successful execution of construction projects, maintenance programs, and real estate activities.
The Director will partner closely with Retail Operations, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, and Executive Leadership to ensure the organization’s physical footprint supports growth objectives, customer experience, operational effectiveness, and long-term business performance. This leader will play a key role in shaping the future retail network by balancing growth opportunities, customer needs, operational requirements, and financial performance.
What will you be doing?

Real Estate Strategy & Portfolio Optimization:
Lead the development and execution of the enterprise real estate strategy across the retail networks.
Provide strategic oversight of the retail portfolio, including site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, relocations, and store closures across approximately 400 locations.
Drive portfolio optimization initiatives to improve occupancy costs, operational efficiency, and long-term value.
Evaluate market opportunities and provide recommendations related to retail footprint planning, expansion, consolidation, and investment decisions.
Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership to support long-range planning, capital allocation, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Construction, Store Development & Retail Network Planning:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all store development initiatives, including new store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures.
Lead and develop the Construction & Store Development team, ensuring priorities, resources, and project execution align with business objectives.
Establish governance, standards, and project delivery frameworks to support successful execution of construction and capital projects.
Partner with Retail Operations and key stakeholders to evolve store formats, design standards, and customer experience initiatives.
Oversee project portfolio performance, including budgets, timelines, risks, and overall delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including landlords, contractors, consultants, and developers.

Facilities, Fleet & Operational Services:
Provide strategic oversight of facilities operations across retail locations, corporate offices, and contact centre environments.
Lead facilities maintenance programs, service delivery standards, and vendor performance to ensure safe, efficient, and well-maintained operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, lease obligations, and applicable building standards.
Provide oversight of the company's fleet program, including vehicle acquisition, utilization, lifecycle planning, vendor management, and cost optimization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational effectiveness, service quality, and cost management.

Vendor, Financial & Team Leadership:
Lead vendor sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships across real estate, facilities, construction, and fleet services.
Establish vendor governance and performance management practices to ensure accountability, service excellence, and value creation.
Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership on portfolio performance, capital projects, operational initiatives, and strategic priorities.

What experience do you have?

Minimum 5+ years of people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a complex and evolving environment.
Experience managing multi-site retail portfolios within a retail, franchise, or consumer-facing environment.
Strong understanding of commercial leasing, site selection, lease negotiations, and landlord management.
Experience leading construction, renovation, and store development programs.
Knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations, and vendor oversight.
Demonstrated ability to manage operating budgets, capital expenditures, contracts, and real estate investments.
Strong project management, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
Professional designations such as PMP, CPM, FMA, RPA, or related certifications are considered an asset.

A day in the life of a Branch Manager:  

Create a vision and objective, leading your team to hit your branch, portfolio goals and capitalize on financial cross-sales and add-on products. 
Plan schedules, administer timesheets, manage payroll, and other ad hoc administrative duties.
Build superior customer sales experiences by welcoming and engaging customers in person, over the phone, and by email.

Demonstrate compassion and empathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.

Fully Bilingual in English and French

goeasy Ltd. is seeking a Risk Analyst with proven problem-solving abilities to provide analytics expertise in support of easyfinancial, its consumer lending business.  You will assist the Senior Manager, Risk and Analytics, in developing, implementing, and managing the appropriate level of risk analysis, monitoring and controls to ensure sound and consistent credit risk management practices, creating the foundation for profitable growth. Additionally, you will provide in-depth analytics to support easyhome, the company’s leasing business, and liaise with various business units to meet their data requirements.
What will you be doing?

Data mining, Modelling and Analysis:
Conduct guided analytical dives to properly diagnose, document and report on the drivers of unexpected changes to portfolio/origination composition and credit performance across multiple lending channels including retail, online lending and alternative. Communicate findings and the future impacts to losses to management.
Assist Risk and Analytics leadership by supporting the development of risk models for the purposes of origination, account management and collections.
Perform analysis leading to credit strategy optimization, including but not limited to customer risk segmentation development that improves the portfolio’s risk-reward profile.
Forecast, track and measure key business metrics including loss rates, approval rates, loan conversion rates, and credit quality for new initiatives and marketing campaigns.

Forecasting and Reporting:
Maintain a standard set of risk and performance reports that evaluate the overall credit risk of the portfolio.
Monitor and maintain a comprehensive set of reports to identify delinquency and charge off trends at the vintage and segment levels. Apply observations to loss forecasting models to capture current trends and communicate to Senior Management to identify risks and opportunities to the forecast.
Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to understand the impact of exogenous factors, policy and operational changes on delinquency and charge off levels.
Assist Risk and Analytics leadership by providing an objective assessment of the risk profile and performance of the easyfinancial portfolio as well as the overall business unit by regularly monitoring key risk indicators, conducting periodic credit reviews, and consistently communicating findings.

What experience do you have?

Possess a strong knowledge of quantitative methodologies, risk models, and tools.
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
Hold a University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline (an advanced degree is desired).
Exhibit superior analytical skills – the ability to understand complex problems, detect trends, and analyze data to develop solutions.

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Manager to lead our Unsecured Loan Processing team within our Central Loan Approval Office. This individual will be a key driver of operational excellence, policy and process innovation, and people leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of project management expertise, independent ownership, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
What will you be doing?

Leading by example to develop and preserve an energetic, highly effective CLAO (Central Loan Approval Office) culture that inspires employee engagement, effective processes and subsequently surpasses even the most difficult stakeholder expectations.
Establish standards for service levels, queue management, and performance monitoring measures as it relates to underwriting, providing subordinates with prioritization, direction, and support during periods with heightened demand.
Oversee CLAO Unsecured Loan Processing operations, including but not limited to staffing, scheduling, and planning to ensure company expectations are met.
Lead and deliver complex initiatives from concept to completion. Demonstrating strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills driving measurable outcomes.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve underwriting guidelines and processes.
Generate and implement ongoing reporting to track efficiencies, staff activity and continuously improve on defined KPIs.
Collaborate with the retail branch network, regional managers, and the indirect teams to craft solutions to meet customer and merchant needs, creating processes to capture, analyze, leverage, and share branch insights to improve overall customer experience.
Collaborate with the Director, Underwriting regularly to enhance the Loan Underwriting Manual and other policies and procedures as they relate to the processing of loan applications.
What experience do you have?

5-7+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on loan operations or credit adjudication.
3+ years in a leadership role managing teams and cross-functional projects.
Call centre management experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of unsecured lending products, policies, and regulatory considerations.
Experience with process optimization, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience managing reports, analyzing results and implementing change based on findings independently with minimal supervision.

A day in a life of a Customer Solutions Specialist:

Customer Engagement & Sales
Build strong customer relationships by welcoming and engaging customers in person, over the phone, and by email.
Interview customers to understand their financial and personal needs to match them with the appropriate financial, leasing, and/or service product solution.
Transparently communicate lease and credit terms and conditions and educate customers on credit-building opportunities.
Maximize sales of goeasy’s financial services and home goods through methods such as cross-selling.


Account Management & Collections
Manage customer accounts, including opening new accounts, updating records, processing payments, and monitoring overdue accounts.
Perform administrative duties and secure all required information to fulfill customer contracts for products and services, including evaluating applicant’s financial status and ability to repay.
Conduct collection activities on financial services and products while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
Build long term customer relationships to creates trust and increase customer retention.
Follow up with customers on missed payments and negotiate repayment terms where applicable.


Retail Operations
Uphold merchandising standards including assisting with show room set up, pricing and promotion changes, as well as manage and track inventory.
Keep your store looking its best by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and a customer-ready environment.
Bring products to life by assembling and disassembling electronics and home furnishings as needed.
Coordinate delivery paperwork and ensure accurate documentation for lease and finance applications.
Perform out-of-store duties such as assistance with delivering merchandise, collection activities, and administrative duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What we are looking for: 

Proven communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and drive results.
Experience in a customer-facing environment (retail, finance, or leasing preferred).
Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Availability to work a variety of shifts within store operating hours (10am-7pm Mondays to Saturdays)
Assist in physical tasks such as moving and arranging merchandise (ability to lift 50+ pounds is considered an asset).
Comfortable with sales calls, collections, and having difficult customer conversations
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit). Having a driver’s licence would be considered an asset.
